Mark has been tracking since 2008 when he participated in Wilderness Awareness School’s Tracking Intensive. Currently, he is the Lead Instructor and Coordinator of that program where has been teaching for a decade. Mark is a Track and Sign Specialist certified by CyberTracker International, holds a BA and MA in Sociology of Environment, and a HDip in Science & Technology Studies. Mark is a professional artist and art educator in Seattle, and he brings his unique perspective on art and tracking as a visual language. Mark was one of the artist contributors to Peterson Field Guide to North American Bird Nests and runs the KOH Atelier Program at the Gage Academy of Art. View his work at kangohiggins.com.
