Amee Waltman

Amee Waltman

Youth Programs Director

Amee has always been called to the wild… but it was not until a few years ago that she truly understood what that call meant. Amee feels so grateful to be able to spend her days following the nature connection path at White Pine Wilderness Academy. She loves to travel and learn about new destinations around our great state. The path of nature connection is always evolving and she is so grateful for the opportunity to share it with others.

She started her learning journey at Purdue University, graduating with a bachelors of science with a concentration on Organizational Leadership. She later completed the Indiana Master Naturalist certification.

Amee earned her Forest School Teacher certification at the Academy of Forest Kindergarten Teachers in Santa Barbara, California. She holds immense gratitude for what was presented by her mentors, guides, and cohorts on that journey.

Amee also earned the Permaculture Designer certification through the Permaculture Institute of North America, as well as her Community Herbalism certification at Persimmon Herb School.
