Southern Indiana Track & Sign Eval
April 6 – 7, 2024
This is an official CyberTracker Track & Sign evaluation for certification. For professional development or education. Open to all levels.
Learn to recognize tracks of mammals, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates on your landscape, and to interpret animal movement and behavior. This explorative practice reveals a hidden world of wildlife sign, and develops the ability to find subtle evidence of animal presence. In short, this skill set facilitates knowledge on a remarkable variety of life in an ecosystem.
The White Pine campus in Indianapolis is a 50 minute drive from Bloomington. If you have difficulty finding arrangements in Bloomington you are welcome to camp for free in our yurt or on our grounds from Friday through Sunday. Sunday night our evaluator Marcus will do a slide presentation about CyberTracker’s progress around the globe. Additionally we are in the the path of totality for the historic eclipse on Monday the 8th at 11 am . You are welcome to camp Sunday night and join us Monday for viewing.
